“I stay here every year, usually 2x a year, with my family. Weve always loved it, but since By the Sea Resorts bought Palmetto Inn too, it seems to slowly be going down. The staff is great. The room was clean. Really the only issue was that the mattresses absolutely suck. The pillows were equally as horrible & uncomfortable. Im unsure what happened, as the beds were great even as recently as October 2025. And as much as they've raised their prices, a decent bed & pillows shouldny be too much to……

“the room was musky, there were roaches in room 229. the bathtub was cracked and rusted around the drain. there was a drain clog, or backup in courtyard in front of my room, that smelled. ”

“Exceptional value for stunning Gulf views, direct beach access, and convenient location to dining & shopping, as well as exploring 30A. The room was clean, odorless, and the kitchenette had what we needed. Pool, hot tub, and tiki bar were nice. The staff was all friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Were there 4 nights and wish we could have stayed longer.”

“The Surf Bungalow was amazing! We loved that the kids had their own space and bathroom upstairs. Queen bunks!! I do wish they provided more cooking pot options. We did alot of washing with only two tiny pots. We were not satisfied with communication or friendliness of front desk staff. We had to call several times and they either don’t call back or show up. The first night we needed a blanket and they never brought it. We asked how much it would be to extend our stay. Instead of calling us back……
